Novak Djokovic wins sixth Wimbledon title, equals record 20th Grand Slam with Roger Federer & Rafael Nadal- Novak Djokovic has won his 20th Grand Slam title to equal Swiss legend Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Djokovic won the match 6-7, 6-4, 6-4, 6-3 against Italy’s Matteo Berrettini to become Wimbledon champion for the sixth time in his top-flight tennis career.
This was Djokovic’s third straight Grand Slam victory in 2021 after winning the Australian Open 2021 and French Open at Roland Garros. He is now set up for a calendar grand slam record ahead of the US Open. It’s open happened once in the Open era. He can go on to win the 21st Grand Slam later this year to go past Federer and Nadal. It was the sixth Wimbledon title for Novak Djokovic in his 7th Final appearance at Centre Court.
Last month, Djokovic became the first man on the planet after 52 years to win all grand slams twice. Victory for the Serb took him alongside Roy Emerson and Rod Laver as the only men to capture the four majors more than once.

All three players hold a dominant run in one of the grand slams. While Djokovic holds an edge over the Australian Open, Nadal and Federer are ahead in the game when it comes to French Open and Wimbledon respectively.
