Fantasy sports platform MyTeam11 has inked a broadcast sponsorship deal with DD Sports for the ongoing New Zealand-India T20 International series.

MyTeam11, the first to offer a volleyball fantasy game, was among the broadcast sponsors for the first T20 International between the hosts Kiwis and India at Wellington on Wednesday. The hosts have made a winning start, handing the Rohit Sharma-led Indians their worst ever T20I defeat. Earlier, India have wrapped up the five-match One Day International series 4-1.

“We are privileged to be the broadcast associate partners of DD Sports and we are delighted to announce that this alliance is introduced with the agenda to boost the admiration for sports among the rural areas,” said MyTeam11 CEO Vinit Godara.

“We previously joined hands with Pro Volleyball League as the ‘Official Fantasy Partners,’ and now we are moving forward to reach the nooks-n-corners of India by partnering with one of the largest networks,” MyTeam11 COO Sanjit Sihag added.

The second game of the three-match T20I series will be played tomorrow (Friday) at Wellington.

DD Sports airs the live match feed from Star Sports, Cricket New Zealand’s exclusive media rights partner for the territory of India.
